Team Manager - Referral & Assessment Team

We are looking to recruit a Team Manager in the Referral & Assessment Team within Barking & Dagenham. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

London Borough of Barking & Dagenham pay close attention to looking after their Social Workers and strive to ensure they feel supported and welcomed in their roles. The responsibilities of the Team Manager includes:

• To manage the delivery of social work services to children and their families in
  accordance with statutory requirements.
• To ensure delivery of these services are managed within budget and in line with quality
  standards.
• To ensure that children and families referred to the service receive appropriate
  services relevant to their needs.
• To ensure the quality and standards of professional practice and performance are
  achieved in each team.
• WFH except during duty week and for a few face to face meetings.

To ideal candidate will have:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DPSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
