- Develop and implement behaviour management strategies tailored to individual student needs.
- Work closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support.
- Monitor and report on student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Build strong relationships with students, helping them to develop self-esteem and resilience.
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) with experience in SEMH settings.
- Strong understanding of SEMH challenges and effective intervention strategies.
- Excellent behaviour management and classroom leadership skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to supporting vulnerable students.
- Strong communication and team-working skills.
