CNC Miller

Contek Recruitment are currently working with a precision engineering client, located in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a CNC Miller to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Our client is a well established company that not only supplies high quality flexible and rigid couplings for power transmissions, but also specialises in all aspects of CNC and Traditional Machining.

With experience gathered over the last 30 years, our client are proud of their reputation for Quality, Service and Customer satisfaction gained in all sectors including Automotive, Transmissions, Nuclear, Railways, Fluid & Hydraulic components and other associated areas.

From their facility in West Yorkshire, they can accommodate anything from one off 5-axis rapid prototype work or breakdown repairs manufactured direct from CAD models up to mass-produced components delivered in line with production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines.
• Read & understand engineering drawings.
• Perform dimensional & visible checks of components.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Work to company processes & procedures
• Work to set KPIs.
  

Required Skills:

• Previous experience within CNC milling
• Experience with one of the following machine controls is essential:
• Keen attention for detail with measuring and machining.
• Great team player.
• Self-starter.

Working Hours: 39 hours per week - Monday to Thursday (06.00 - 15.00) and Friday (06 00) (Flexible on start/finish times if required).

Pay: £16-18 per hour (Dependent on experience)
