Retail Assistant

Pertemps Sheffield are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity within one of the UK’s largest supermarket retailers. Your role as a Retail Assistant will to work within the clothes department, merchandising the school wear.

Our client is a British multinational groceries and general merchandise retailer that was founded back in 1919!

Your main duties will include:

• Assisting customers with finding suitable products
• Helping resolve customer issues
• Keeping the store floor organised
• Replenishing stock

Successful candidates:

• Previously experience in retail or customer service
•  Excellent communication skills
• Ability to have empathy
• Friendly and approachable demeanour
• Must have a smart phone to enable the access of ‘Timegate’ which is used to confirm your attendance and the hours that have been worked

Working Hours and Pay Rate:

You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week. The ideal hours are between 6pm and 10pm, however it may be possible for these to be adjusted slightly if needed, for public transport purposes.

The assignment is due to last from 28^th October until 3^rd January 2025.

Your rate of pay will be £11.44 per hour and you MUST be 18 years of age or older.

The dress code will be black trousers, black plain top and black shoes.

You must be able to reliably attend the store each day, with the postcode of S70 3NS.
