Senior Account Manager – Technology?

Location: London or Manchester Hybrid with ability travel across the UK (2-3 days a week in the office)

Salary: £45-70,000 (dependent upon experience) + great bonus, benefits and career

the landscape by meeting customers’ real-time needs and providing cutting-edge technologies

and services to an ever-growing customer base.


The role:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key contacts at all levels in both new and existing

partners. You will be the primary point of contact for their client’s and will establish

yourself as a valuable resource.

  • Create and deliver partnership development plans with one of the organisations top strategic partners
  • Develop and implement quarterly and yearly business plans
  • Meeting/exceeding a unique sales focus to drive emerging technology and new customers sales to drive Partners
  • Utilise a consultative relationship approach to evangelise business value at all levels within the customer base
  • Increase brand awareness and demand within the partner community through targeted initiatives & co-sell campaigns
  • Act as an escalation point and ensure resolution of issues
  • Be the expert in the sales messaging, motion and organisational alignment for your partner
  • Understand the current and future client base intimately, how their partnership programs work, what motivates them, and how to drive commitment to an ever-expanding and deepening relationship
  • Develops strategic messages to the Client on the value of partnering
  • Drives executive outreach to key practice leads and executive at the partner
  • Increases partner commitment & engagement in joint activities.
  • Participates in regular Quarterly Business Review cadence with strategic partners to establish, review, and modify plans and execution scorecards

The person:

  • Degree educated
  • Experience of business development and account management in either, Cloud hosting, cyber security, AWS, AI, Connectivity, Technology Consultancy or Managed Services (it is essential that you have deep experience in one or more of these technology areas)
  • Proven progressive track record in relationship-based channel account development or management
  • Proven experience with major National and global Resellers
  • Possess good business acumen in channels sales management, business development, and strategic partner alignment
  • Experience in the IT industry, especially in Cloud-based software, infrastructure and services
  • Influential and consultative communication and presentation skills
  • Experience developing and launching go-to-market strategies
  • Ability to manage short term (tactical) and long term (strategic) relationships and plans
  • Demonstrated success in implementing end-to-end initiatives involving multiple products, groups, audiences and deliverables
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated, able to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities
  • Solution oriented skill set
  • Ability to work in a high change environment
