Materials Planner

Job Title: Materials Planner
Location: Tadcaster
Pay Rate: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour (dependant upon experience)
Hours: 08:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday (7 hours per day with an hour for lunch). Some flexibility required due to the nature of the work.

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and organised Materials Planner to join their planning team at their Tadcaster site. This role involves planning production and materials, with a focus on packaging and brewing materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage brewing materials.
• Oversee liquid planning.
• Coordinate packaging materials planning.
• Develop and maintain packaging line schedules.

Experience Required:

• Previous experience in a planning role.
• Knowledge of planning systems, particularly SAP.
• Familiarity with SAP APO (Advanced Planning Optimiser) for scheduling packaging plans.
• Experience with AS Infor (Advanced Scheduling) for liquid planning.
• Proficiency in using Excel spreadsheets.
• Experience in an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment is advantageous.
