I am working with a successful, growing consultancy who specialise in innovation, design and development. They work with a range of industries and have a reputation for finding creative solutions to technical problems.

They are looking for a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to join their growing team.

The Role:

The Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer will conduct software development in C and use high-quality code for production systems. They will work within multidisciplinary teams and take products from initial concept through to delivery.

The Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer will be able to deliver high quality engineering consultancy services to clients along with colleagues from across the business. They will develop firmware for embedded products and systems implementing wired or wireless communications, sensors, user interfaces and control.

For this Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer role, we are looking for:

• Ability to develop firmware for embedded products using C
• Competent in using electronic test equipment
• Understanding of the processes needed to develop high quality embedded firmware
• Able to discuss software technical terms in ways understandable to those from other disciplines
• Experience with embedded OS e.g. FreeRTOS & Linux
• Interest in embedded technologies

4-5 days onsite
