We are excited to be working with a private equity backed data services company looking to hire 2 exceptional Business Development Managers into their London HQ. Following their recent PE-backing they’re growing their commercial org and see 2 new business focused salespeople as their ideal next hires.
You will report directly to the Sales Director, playing a key role in their continued success and growth across the UK. The ideal candidate is a creative salesperson, highly autonomous and comfortable closing as well as generating pipeline. You will know how to sell a variety of products and can drive deals forward to compress sales cycles.
They have a small-but-mighty team of 20 employees based in the UK, operating a hybrid-working model with 1-2 days per week in their London office and 3-4 days a week from home.
As Business Development Manager you will:
- Be the owner of your territory, hunting for new sales opportunities in untapped markets
- Identify, prospect and convert new clients, forging close relationships over time
- Build market knowledge through internal and external resources and keep up to date with products and industry developments
- Highlight the value proposition to raise curiosity and interest, organising compelling demos to convert prospects
- Drive growth by identifying and engaging new business prospects, transforming them into valuable key accounts
We want to hear from you if:
- You have 2 or more years of success in a new business sales role
- You have previously sold a data, insights or data services product
- You have sold to a variety of industries and can quickly adapt to new products and specialisms
- You have experience encouraging customers at senior levels to think differently about a problem or challenge
- You have experience mapping out the market to find the ideal personas for different products and go onto to build strong relationships with them
- You’re a proactive, independent thinker with a positive attitude and high energy
What do they offer?
- Salary of £65,000 + 40% On-Target-Commission
