Fantastic opportunity for a Contract Manager to join a market leading company in the Commercial Maintenance sector who are growing at a rapid pace, earning notable contracts. As our client are growing, they are looking for a Contract Manager to cover a multi - use commercial property in Kensington, West London.
We are looking for an ambitious Contract Manager, looking to progress further in their career. You will be reporting into the director of this company, whilst also being accountable for a site supervisor, a team of maintenance engineers and receive support from a contract support
To be successful in this role you will need to have experience in a similar role prior, handling client expectations, managing a team of engineers, possess excellent communication skills and come from a technical background.
Duties: - Reporting to the Director
- Running Profit and Loss (P&L)
- Managing WIP
- Managing KPI and SLA's.
- Technical supporting both the client and the engineering team
- Responsible for managing the company's quality procedures on site
- Management of client relationships on a daily basis.
- Attending client meetings
- Dealing with client's requirements including additional projects / works
- Recruitment
- Develop staff, annual appraisals etc
- Manage staff absenteeism and be responsible for disciplinary issues
- Reports
- Winning and managing additional business opportunities
- Responsible for the permit system.
- Responsible for managing the company's H&S and environmental performance on the contract.
Requirements: - Technically qualified - Apprenticeship / City & Guilds qualifications in Electrical Installations / Mechanical Engineering / Air Conditioning / HVAC
- Experience in managing contracts / maintenance teams
- Personable and good people skills
- Driven and motivated
- Computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary and Benefits: - £65,000 - £70,000 per annum
