Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £110 - £130 Daily, Negotiable
Hours: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor for a full-time, temp-to-perm role at a highly rated school in Daventry, Northamptonshire. This is an immediate start opportunity, ideal for individuals who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience or progress in a career in education.

• Supervise students during the absence of teaching staff, ensuring that work set by the teacher is completed.
• Maintain order and keep students on task during lessons, supporting a positive learning environment.
• Follow school policies and procedures to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Assist students with queries regarding their work where possible.
• Support the school with administrative tasks, lesson cover, and other duties as required.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other supervisors to provide seamless learning experiences for students.

• Experience in a school setting or working with young people is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom environment with confidence and professionalism.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with a positive attitude.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
