Flt Counterbalance Driver

Advance Staff are currently looking for an experienced counterbalance FLT driver to join our friendly team in Shrewsbury. The role is temp to perm.

Pay Rate - £14.00 an hour

Working Hours midday 8pm

Experience Least 2 years min

Jobs include

• Unloading vehicles
• Loading Vehicles
• Labelling Pallets
• Being able to understand a run sheet to load our fleet
• Able to meet trunks time
• Warehouse work
• General housekeeping in the yard and warehouses

Typical day

Come in load/unload our drivers throughout the day, labelling pallets as they go. Putting away parcels while waiting for drivers to come back and tidying warehouse/yard too. From 15:30/16:00 is the busiest part, in this time there will be 3 APC artics to load which all have different deadlines they have to meet. After APC is done there will be 2 artics to load for our pallet networks, these don t have deadlines as such but need to be in and out efficiently to make connections at the hub.
