operations manager - freight forwarder (6 month contract)

Operations manager for a freight forwarder company that imports goods into the UK, they do alot in the fashion sector and other sectors. This is a 6 month fixed term contract. Salary £45 annual salary and this is a 6 month fixed term role. The offices are easy to get to in manchester and parking site. 2 days hybrid

The role
As an operations manager you will ensure everything runs smoothly within the freight forwarding, you will manage a team of import operator/freight forwarder you will ensure the goods are set up for smooth importing from the factories in India and China to the UK. Alot of the goods are fabric and fashion but they deal with a range of other goods as well. This role will include all the normal freight forwarding operations manager duties
