Information Security Coordinator (compliance) - 12 month FTC


Hybrid | London


£40k - £50K


A growing internal security team within a globally recognised consultancy, is looking to bring on an Information Security compliance coordinator on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.


This is a brilliant opportunity to work closely with the information security manager and the wider CISO and IT teams to take the lead on creating and maintaining policies and documentation of information security policies, standards, and training content – making a lasting impact on the growth of the team.


Role of an Information Security Coordinator (compliance)


  • Create and update documentation such as InfoSec Polices and standards, training content, and internal communications, etc.
  • Liaise and collaborate closely with key stakeholders such as the wider CISO team, the IT function and business users
  • Maintain best practices for technical communication to ensure accessibility of policies.
  • Manage documentation lifecycle – creation, review, approval, distribution and archiving as well as the testing and training in relation to the documentations


Requirements of an Information Security Coordinator (compliance)

  • Prior experience of hands on documentation, policy and standard technical writing and understanding of technical writing principles is a must – design, content, terminology ect
  • Experience utilising tools such as Microsoft office, Adobe Acrobat, HTML, ect
  • Good understanding of information security landscape and frameworks
