Clearfield have partnered with a prestigious construction company renowned for delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join their dynamic team in Colchester.
You will oversee projects up to £15 million, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects up to £15 million.
- Manage and mentor a team of project managers, site managers, and other construction professionals.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance and implement improvements where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management.
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team and projects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Contracts Manager or similar role within a tier 1 or tier 2 contractor.
- Demonstrated experience managing construction projects up to £15 million.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and regulations.
- Proficiency in relevant project management software and tools.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Relevant degree or qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
