Primary 1:1 Teaching Assistant

The Supply Register are proud to be working in partnership with the Wade Deacon Trust. TSR support the schools within the Trust with all of their short and long-term vacancies. This vacancy is a long-term role which is 5 days per week and would be suitable for an experienced SEND TA who has a proven track record of working with Primary aged pupils who have ASC.

Responsibilities:

- Working on a one-to-one or small group basis with pupils who require additional support.

- Ensuring the safety of pupils within their educational environment

- Supporting the Class Teacher and other Teaching Assistants with setting school standards.

- Liaising with other members of staff such as the SENDCo regarding EHCPs and best practice.

Requirements:

- Experience as a Teaching Assistant.

- Experience supporting pupils with ASC.

- A DBS on the Update Service (we can facilitate this).
