Job Title: Transactions and Portfolio Manager – Real Estate

Position: Permanent, Mon-Fri

Location: Hybrid – Flexible

Salary: Up to £95k D.O.E + attractive Benefits +Genuine Career Progression.


Our client, a forward-thinking alternative lender, specializes in real estate investment and development across residential, care, and student sectors. They offer tailored funding solutions across a range of loan types and asset classes. With ambitious plans to become a leading player in the UK real estate market, they aim to commit over £250 million in lending within the next two years.


To support their rapid growth, they are seeking a Transaction and Portfolio Manager to oversee and manage the execution of approved loans through to redemption. Reporting directly to the Founder & CEO, this role offers significant responsibility, direct exposure to senior management, and a chance to make a real impact within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the execution of approved loans from initiation to redemption.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Provide analysis and insights for credit committee and board presentations.
  • Ensure smooth portfolio management and mitigate risks through creative problem-solving.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in real estate finance, with a focus on loan management.
  • Deep knowledge of real estate development and construction.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in appraisals, cashflows, and data interpretation.
  • Proficient in assessing and managing lending risks.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to present effectively at senior levels.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and decision-making in high-pressure environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and ethically.
