POSITION SUMMARY

The Studio Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of studio operations including team leadership, project management, and creative direction. This strategic leader will manage a diverse team of creative professionals, including producers, creative directors, designers, and video teams, providing mentorship to nurture creativity and collaboration. They are accountable for managing large-scale projects and campaigns, defining project timelines, project budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.

The Studio Director collaborates closely with clients and the account team to provide strategic solutions and maintain regional and global account cohesion. They ensure that creative content aligns with quality standards, brand guidelines, and industry trends, staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices to foster innovation and creativity within the studio.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • CREATIVE STUDIO EXPERIENCE:
    • Minimum 10+ years in creative industry across B2B and/or B2C companies.
    • Bachelor's and/or post-graduate degree in Communications, Advertising, or a related field. A combination of education and/or related work experience may be substituted.
    • Extensive hands-on experience in creative production (including shoot production), project planning, and workflow optimization.
    • Experience orchestrating the creation of content for eCommerce, performance, and social campaigns.
    • Proficient in project management tools, and creative and production workflows.
    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of digital platforms and best practices - with a passion for staying current on social and content trends.

    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide creative and production teams.
    • Proven experience implementing solutions that deliver services with high-quality standards in a profitable and sustainable manner.

JOB RELATIONSHIPS JOB DUTIES CREATIVE STUDIO COE LEADERSHIP
  • Collaborate closely with account leaders and clients to understand their creative needs, presenting concepts and solutions that address their objectives.
  • Manage relationships from a creative perspective alongside internal creative senior leadership.
  • Assign tasks and traffic projects within the team based on skill set and availability, setting clear priorities to the team.
  • Oversee and mentor a group of project managers and producers, designers, visual/motion artists, and content copywriters.
  • Motivate and challenge the team to think critically and to deliver industry-leading ideas and services for every customer.
GROWTH:
  • Partner with account teams to drive the business' response to growth opportunities with existing and prospecting clients through RFI's, RFPs, and organic conversations.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with all internal stakeholders; be seen as a trusted creative partner within the agency.
OPERATIONS:
  • Demonstrate superior knowledge of content creation innovations, technology and digital trends, and customers' target consumer.
  • Proactively look for opportunities for the team to improve, optimize and evolve its processes as the company and industry continues to shift.
  • Partners with operations for process development and documentation.
  • Ensures processes are followed consistently across clients and sectors.
  • Partners with other COEs to ease internal collaboration.
