We are looking for Shovel drivers for our client based in Chorley.
Main duties will include, operating a loading shovel on a recycling plant,
- Perform routine inspections on tractors to ensure proper functioning.
Ensuring that the standard of the yard is maintained and kept clean and tidy.
Operate and maintain tractors to transport materials within the facility premises
Assist in general maintenance tasks around the facility.
- Handling the product with care to ensure minimum damage at all time
- Direct raw material lorries to correct bay and inform QC.
- Adhering to all Health and Safety compliance policies and procedures
- Assist in general maintenance tasks around the facility.
- Any other reasonable request by a manager.
- wear correct PPE
- Comply with all Health, Safety, Quality and Environment policies and procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience operating a loading shovel.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to take direction and following instruction.
- Follow all Company policies and procedures and legislations
- Hold a valid CPCS OR NPORS
