Our client, a prominent London law practice, is seeking an Employment Associate to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to work with a diverse portfolio of high-profile clients across various sectors, including financial services, education, media, and sports.

Position Overview

As an Employment Associate, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive employment advice to both employers and senior executives. Working within a collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of matters, from drafting contracts and policies to advising on complex projects such as collective redundancy consultations.

Responsibilities

• Advise employers on drafting contracts, policies, and procedures
• Provide guidance on day-to-day issues, including disciplinary and grievance matters
• Contribute to larger projects, such as collective redundancy consultations
• Manage Employment Tribunal litigation
• Advise senior executives on employment matters, from entry to exit
• Support the commercial and corporate teams on employment-related issues
• Write articles for the team's blog and deliver client training events

Requirements

• High level of technical knowledge in employment law
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey advice effectively
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
• Enthusiasm and strong team working skills
• Minimum 2:1 degree and training contract completed in a mid-sized or city firm
