Job Title: Product Manager, Payments

Location: London Area

Salary: £80,000 base salary, plus equity and private healthcare


Position Overview

The company is looking for an accomplished Product Manager to spearhead the integration of their payments solutions within strategic financial clients' ecosystems. This role is pivotal in driving product adoption and enhancing collaborative partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s products seamlessly integrate with client systems, fostering innovation and meeting evolving client needs. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to align product offerings with client requirements and deliver exceptional results.


Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Execution

  • Define product requirements, prioritize features, and manage the implementation of embedded solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs.
  • Drive the integration and expansion of the company’s platform within clients’ product offerings.
  • Build project plans, prioritize key milestones, schedule releases, and manage product backlogs.
  • Create user stories with clear acceptance criteria and develop other product documentation.
  • Lead product development efforts, ensuring customer experiences are at the forefront.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Engage with strategic financial clients to gather requirements and develop solutions in line with platform capabilities.
  • Foster collaboration across departments (R&D, operations, finance, and marketing) to ensure all teams are aligned on product goals.
  • Work with engineering teams to ensure seamless development and implementation.


Lifecycle Management

  • Manage the full product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring ongoing product improvements and updates.
  • Use customer feedback and data analytics to inform future product development and make continuous improvements.


Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in product management, preferably in fintech or payments.
  • Proven success in managing large-scale partnerships and complex projects, even with limited resources.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with experience engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel.
