JOB OVERVIEW

As the Global Brands Finance and Data Analytics Analyst, you are not just a number-cruncher; you are a strategic thinker and catalyst for commercial excellence. Your work will involve pioneering insightful commercial reporting and delivering data-driven recommendations that shape the future of our diverse fragrance portfolio. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your analytical expertise will be pivotal in driving both financial and operational improvements across multiple brands and markets.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with cross-functional teams to decode revenue and profitability drivers, thereby influencing business and brand strategy.
• Master the intricacies of Profit & Loss statements to offer nuanced insights into income drivers and potential growth areas.
• Champion data-driven decision-making and brand strategy by creating robust forecasting models that anticipate market trends.
• Leverage external data sources to evaluate market performance, identifying opportunities and challenges.
• Steer investment decisions by providing invaluable financial modelling and analysis, challenging assumptions where necessary.
• Conduct meticulous SKU-level profit analysis to inform brand and market strategies.
• Evaluate ROI on media and in-store investments, supporting the Managing Director in establishing uniform KPIs across brands.
• License Reporting. Monitor and provide analytics support for License contract compliance, specifically focusing on royalty arrangements.
• Contribute proactively to multi-disciplinary task forces aimed at boosting efficiency and business acumen.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• A Levels or Bachelor’s degree in Maths and/or Finance/Business/Economics
• A minimum of 1+ years in commercial analytics, financial reporting, or a similar role within the finance or data analytics department
• Expert in Excel and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; SAP knowledge is a plus. Excel knowledge fluency and speed will be an important requirement for a candidate comfortable with all Excel keyboard power functions and data analytics functions
• Knowledge of Profit and Loss Statement is a plus
