A global investment management firm has a new opportunity for an experienced Sales Director to lead their European Sales team. This position reports into the Global Head of Sales and sits on the firm's leadership team.
This role is instrumental in driving business growth in Europe through the successful management of a sales team of 10.
Key accountabilities include:
- Develop and implement a proactive sales strategy for the European business, working closely with Investment Directors.
- Maximize sales opportunities and drive sales growth.
- Provide leadership and professional development for the existing sales team.
- Partner with the marketing team to develop and direct brand awareness in Europe.
- Develop a team which leverages industry best practices and optimizes business processes.
- Encourage engagement and create a culture where people are motivated to reach their full potential.
Desired experience and skills:
- Strong sales track record within the investment management industry.
- Previous team management experience is essential for this position.
- Excellent client facing skills with strong written and verbal communications.
- Demonstrates sound judgment in resolving highly complex matters.
- Effectively builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.
- A second European language (German or Italian) would be an additional benefit.
