The Role
The Lab Technician role plays a crucial role in supporting the synthesis and purification of peptides.
They assist in setting up, operating, and maintaining laboratory equipment, performing routine synthesis and purification tasks under the guidance of Chemists.
Technicians can conduct preliminary quality checks using techniques like HPLC, ensuring products meet specified standards.
They maintain accurate records of experiments and procedures to comply with ISO 13485 regulatory requirements.
Technicians manage laboratory supplies, ensure proper storage of reagents, and follow safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment.
Through their diligent work, technicians contribute significantly to the efficient production of high-quality products.
Benefits
• Flexible working hours 37.5/week (core hours 9.30-11.45 and 14.15-16.00)
• Annual Incentive Pay (performance based)
• Holidays start at 20 days (plus all Bank Holidays), rising by 2 days per year to a maximum of 30 days
• Employer Contribution Pension scheme, employee contributions matched by the company to a maximum of 5%
