This leading provider of business advisory and assurance services to the insurance sector now need to hire several consultants to:
- Take a lead role in supporting the delivery and management of client engagements (eg large-scale process transformation projects, regulatory assurance work etc), working closely with more senior members of the practice and effectively leading a small team of juniors on each project.
- Engage directly with clients on the issues they face whether as a new entrant to the market, an acquirer of a competitor or as an insurer looking to wind down its business, and provide them with relevant advice.
- Deliver written reports, working papers, and summary excel analyses
- Take responsibility for day-to-day delivery of project objectives, including the management of junior staff, direct interaction with clients, and regular reporting to senior internal and client stakeholders.
- Drive Project Management, including budgeting, reporting and risk management.
The right candidates will have:
- A background in Insurance which could be gained from a regulatory, strategy or project role in industry, from another professional services firm or from the PRA or FCA
- A demonstrable understanding of insurance firms' businesses, structures, and strategies, ideally across more than one area e.g. brokers, retail insurers, Lloyd’s syndicates, InsurTech etc
- Working knowledge of or an interest in UK regulatory requirements and emerging regulation
- The ability to generate ideas and use flexible thinking to problem solve. Some sort of entrepreneurial flair or ambition helps – this is market-leading, innovative team
- Experience of working on multiple projects or engagements at any one time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – both written and verbal
