Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Canterbury

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee complex engineering projects, ensuring that all key projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards. This role involves coordinating various aspects of project delivery, from planning and execution to reporting and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

• As the project manager, plan, achieve and balance all project goals and objectives.
• Prepare cost and price analysis.
• Define project scope and objectives with input from relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal departments and third parties.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress.
• Handle changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Measure project performance and report to management.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships as the project manager.
• Perform risk management to minimize potential issues.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Delegate tasks based on team members' strengths and skills.
• Track project performance and meet budgetary objectives.
• Develop leadership and management skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in a relevant Engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, software, systems architecture, etc.).
• Proven track record in as a project manager.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• PMP or PRINCE II certification is a plus, enhancing the project manager's qualifications.
