Venture Search is currently partnered with the Private Funds Group of an Investment Bank. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a Distribution candidate to join their office in London. In this role, candidates will be responsible for raising capital for PE, Private Debt, Real Estate and Infrastructure funds, targeting Institutional LPs across Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Raise capital for GPs, demonstrating ability to convert interested investors for their clients.
- Bring and build a strong network of institutional investors across EMEA.
- Manage investor queries, ensuring that both LPs and GPs are updated on processes. Maintain all relationships to facilitate future sales.
- Qualify investors for all relevant products.
- Track, research and monitor the market for new investor allocations.
- Source new LP relationships and generate new GP leads.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a capital raising or IR position. Candidates must have closed multiple fundraising tickets to be considered. Experience working at a Placement Agent is highly preferable.
- Experience fundraising for PE, Private Credit and/or Infrastructure funds. Strong technical understanding of the alternatives space.
- Strong network of institutional investors across the EMEA region.
- Strong analytical, sales and marketing skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience dealing with senior clients and responding to detailed questions.
