Electrical Project Engineer

We are on the Lookout for an Electrical Project Engineer to Join a leading Electrical Engineering Company based in St Albans

What do we need from you?

• Experience in the electrical design of LV switchgear and Package sub-stations
• Some experience in the electrical design of control and monitoring systems together with electrical schematic diagrams
• Ability to use AutoCAD
• Knowledge of MV switchgear

What you will be doing?

As an electrical project engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Controlling projects from receipt of contract to installation and commissioning.
• Responsibility for all commercial and technical aspects of projects.
• Liaise with clients and their representatives.
• Attend site meetings with clients and their representatives.
• Liaise with the Company s draughting engineers and production team.
• Liaise with suppliers in ascertaining the suitability of electrical components for particular projects.
• The ability to design electrical control schematic diagrams is an advantage.
