Store Operative

Hello,

My client is a long established successful specialist manufacturing engineering SME serving customers in high reliability sectors. They are currently in need of a Stores Operative to join their team in Croydon.

ROLE: The Stores Operative will maintain the Stores and Goods in areas ensuring stock integrity and timely movement of parts.

DUTIES:

• Responsibility for Stores department.
• Effective transfer of parts from Goods Inwards to all areas of the business.
• Timely data entry covering stores receipts and issues.
• Kitting/Picking/Issuing works orders for all areas of the business.
• P.I Checks, cycle counts and perpetual inventory checks.
• Responsibility for Gasses & Chemicals.

SKILLS:

• Familiar with inventory management systems (MRP)
• Experience in a manufacturing or inventory environment
• Excellent organisational skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong communications skills
• Good standard of literacy
• Knowledge of MS Office software (Excel in particular)

LOCATION: New Addington, Croydon

SALARY: 25,640 PER ANNUM
