Job Title: Startup Program Associate

Location: London / Remote

Job Type: [Part-Time or Contractor / 2 days per week]

Budget: £1,200 - £2,400 per month

Visa / Work Permit: Please note that this position does not offer visa sponsorship or assistance with work permits. Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK prior to applying for this role. Exceptional candidates based outside of the UK may be considered for a remote-only position, provided they meet all other qualifications.

Beyond42 is looking for a dynamic, organized, and resourceful Program Associate to support our programs, primarily an acceleration program for promising startups/scaleups.


We strive to develop and deliver structures and processes that use data to create the best experience for both the participating startups and all stakeholders.


In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our efforts to connect promising tech founders with the mentors, resources, and support they need to scale their companies. 


You will work closely with a diverse group of startups, mentors, and experts, ensuring a seamless experience for everyone involved. From onboarding participants to managing critical data and driving program improvements, you’ll play a key role in making our programs successful.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program Coordination:

  • Efficiently onboarding of tech startups, mentors and experts to the program. Create onboarding forms and templates.
  • Create and maintain project plan (Notion or similar platform)
  • Coordinate schedules and logistics for meetings, ensuring smooth operations and effective engagement.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Create processes and structures to keep accurate records of companies, mentorship activities, including meeting notes, feedback, and outcomes.
  • Gather and organise data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external systems.
  • Support in developing KPI setting and tracking processes
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and cleaning tasks.
  • Assist in analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Utilise statistical tools and techniques to support data analysis and reporting efforts.
  • Prepare and generate regular reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain standard and ad-hoc reports based on business needs and requirements. Create clear and compelling visual representations of data to support business insights and decision-making.
  • Use tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI to develop charts, graphs, and other visual aids.

Resource and Content Development:

  • Assist in developing and curating resources, tools, and content for mentorship programs.
  • Support the creation and dissemination of educational materials, guides, and best practices for tech startups.

Community Engagement:

  • Gather feedback from program participants to continuously improve the experience and address any concerns.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support to the program team, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and handling inquiries.
  • Assist with budgeting and expense tracking related to program activities.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a program coordination or administrative role, preferably within a similar program, tech or startup environment. Ideally 2-3 years experience.
  • Data-driven and process oriented
  • Plus if you are interested in Customer Experience (Cx)
  • Strong interest in technology, startups, and entrepreneurship.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
  • Proficiency in project management tools, communication and collaboration tools (e.g. Notion, Monday, Canva, Hubspot, Mailchimp, Typeform)
  • Familiarity with AI tools to automate processes, increase efficiency and ensure accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
