Plumber job carrying out re-active and pro-active maintenance and repairs for large institution.

Your new company:
Hays is looking for a qualified Plumber to work on a public sector high-security site near Market Harborough. Our client is committed to maintaining a safe and efficient environment, providing essential services within the establishment.
Your new role:
In this role, you will be part of the maintenance department, focusing on both reactive and planned projects within the establishment. Depending on the size of the work, you may find yourself working independently or as part of a team. The client provides tools and uniform, and will also offer training on keys and radios. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime on weekends.
What you need to succeed:
To succeed in this role, it is essential that you are qualified to Level 2 or above in City and Guilds or an equivalent qualification, and can provide proof of your qualifications and certificates. This role is a fundamental part of the organisation and requires good communication skills, the ability to follow strict procedures, and the initiative to notify senior staff if there are any problems. You will also need to undergo an enhanced security clearance carried out by the organisation, which will require you to have photo ID such as a valid passport or photo card driving licence.
