Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for residential projects.
- Support the preparation and evaluation of tender documentation and contracts.
- Assist with monthly valuations, cost reporting, and the management of variations.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time.
- Ensure accurate cost monitoring, reporting, and control throughout project lifecycles.
- Assist with financial administration, including payment applications, processing invoices, and contract documentation.
- Help ensure all procurement activities comply with company and industry standards.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the housebuilding or construction industry.
- A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (Degree, HNC, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and other industry-relevant software.
