HVAC Project Manager sought in Yeovil (South West)
We are working with a massive building services organisation, undergoing massive expansion and in demand of many M&E skillsets throughout the South West. At present our client is seeking a Mechanical/HVAC Project Manager to join a specialist HVAC team. Ideally seeking somebody with solid AC experience in the multiple sectors, preferably with strong general M&E understanding, however we are open to discussions with those holding equivalent HVAC construction experience, authority, and qualifications.

Daily Duties of an HVAC Project Manager:

• To oversee and manage air conditioning and ventilation projects from conception to completion
• Plan and oversee air conditioning and ventilation projects, ensuring all objectives are met
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution
• Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
• Report and escalate issues to management as needed
• Manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

What you ll need to succeed as an HVAC Project Manager:

• Proven working experience in project management, specifically within the air conditioning sector of the HVAC industry
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning and/or ventilation systems, installation, and maintenance
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
