Job Title: Requirements Engineer

Salary: Circa £50,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)

Location: Stevenage or Bristol (Relocation package available)

Dynamic (hybrid) working: Typically 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification.

Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK National with British citizenship required.

Restrictions related to nationality and work rights may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by our Personnel Security Team.

The Opportunity

Join our RF Seekers Department within the Requirements and Architecture group, where we define the seeker system design and subsystems for Our Client’s cutting-edge weapon programmes. As a Requirements Engineer, you’ll collaborate with a variety of seeker disciplines, working closely with customers and suppliers to develop and integrate the next generation of RF missile seekers.

This role offers opportunities to work on groundbreaking programmes, such as Future Cruise Anti-Ship Weapon (FC/ASW) and Meteor, developing advanced technologies like Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESAs) and multi-mode sensors. With numerous progression opportunities, you’ll interact with stakeholders across dynamic engineering teams.

If you have a degree-level qualification in a STEM subject (or equivalent experience), plus the ability to achieve the appropriate level of security clearance (SC or DV), we encourage you to apply.

Essential Experience

• Requirements management tools (e.g., DOORs)
• System studies to inform requirements
• Data analysis and technical report writing
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-discipline team

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of MBSE, software, or firmware
• Experience with RF systems and digital signal processing
• Familiarity with performance model development, task package management, and product verification & validation
• Experience across the full product lifecycle
• Hardware experience or an interest in hardware development
