Machine Operator

I am currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our client’s team in the Alsager ST7 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company offering consistent hours, and the chance to grow within the role.

Key Responsibilities of this Machine Operative role:

• Operate print machines efficiently to meet production targets
• Set up machines for print runs, ensuring correct materials and settings
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed to maintain quality
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal function
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet company standards
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and liaise with the maintenance team for more complex problems
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment
• Accurately log production data and report any issues to supervisors

Requirements for this Machine Operator role:

• Previous experience operating and setting machines, ideally in a print or manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve on the spot
• A good understanding of machine maintenance and safety protocols
• Must be able to commute reliably to the Alsager ST7 area

Details of this Machine Operative role:

• Hourly rate of £11.44 per hour, increasing to £12.00 after 12 weeks
• Monday to Thursday 8:00-16:30 Friday 8:00-15:30
• Regular day shifts with an early finish on Fridays
• Ongoing training and development opportunities
• Location: Alsager, ST7
