This position offers the chance to lead internal audit services in the insurance sector, working with high-profile clients and a sizeable team of insurance Internal Audit professionals - some of the brightest minds in the industry.

Key Responsibilities include:

Leading and overseeing internal audits for a diverse portfolio of insurance clients, including both general and life insurance sectors.

Developing audit strategies tailored to clients' needs while ensuring compliance with relevant UK Financial Services regulations.

Managing and mentoring a team of audit professionals, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to best practices.

Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders, client executives, and internal teams to provide trusted advisory services.

Building long-term relationships with clients to identify opportunities for additional services and improvements in audit processes.

Presenting audit findings and recommendations in clear and concise reports, delivering insights to clients to enhance their risk management and operational efficiency.

Business development activities to strengthen the firm’s presence in the insurance sector, leveraging a strong internal network, and your own network of contacts within the industry.


Desired Experience & Skills:

Extensive experience in delivering internal audit services to insurance clients, within general and/or life insurance domains. Prior experience to senior manager or above in a professional services firm is essential.

Strong understanding of UK FS regulations, and general knowledge of the insurance industry landscape.

Leadership track record

Strong relationship-building and communication skills, capable of influencing senior client stakeholders and delivering high-quality advice.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in presenting data and audit findings to senior stakeholders.
