DevOps Engineer

The Role & Team

In this role you’d build and oversee CI/CD pipelines, as well as using monitoring, alerting, config management and dockerised systems. You’d have a wide range of DevOps duties, with the goal of working on the production platform's whole stack and contributing to CI/CD flow.

Our mission is to provide enterprise customers with a complete security testing solution, providing up to the minute coverage of a customers’ entire estate, be that web applications, internal/external infrastructure, cloud deployments, et al.

Who We’re Looking For:

Essential:

• Knowledge, and track record, of implementing and overseeing CI/CD workflows.
• Proficient at creating and designing CI/CD pipelines.
• Working experience in controlling versions using Git.
• Strong knowledge of the application build process, tagging, and releases.
• Prior GitLab ecosystem experience
• Extensive expertise of configuration management systems.
• Practical familiarity with provisioning technologies that are both mutable and immutable (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Substantial experience in shell scripting and Python coding.
• Demonstrated networking and Linux administration abilities.
• Experience working with virtualised environments and public clouds.
• Extensive expertise of Docker and Docker-Compose.
• Knowledgeable about alerting and monitoring solutions.
• Knowledge of log aggregation technologies.
• Experience with Graylog and ELK
• Broad expertise in platform troubleshooting.

Desirable

• Working knowledge of SaltStack
• Working knowledge of Prometheus and Grafana
• Familiarity with Digital Ocean

Cloud vs. On-Prem

Please note that our technology stack is hosted on-prem. We do not use AWS, GCP or Azure.

Additional Information

This role will be predominantly remote, with at most 4-6 visits to our office in Leeds per year.
