Are you who we’re looking for?
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent HSE qualifications.
- Proven track record in a similar HSE role, ideally within the manufacturing or food and beverage industry.
- In-depth understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Ability to engage and influence internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills to identify risks and implement effective solutions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Capable of leading safety training sessions and driving a positive safety culture.
- Proficiency in HSE management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
What does the day-to-day look like?
- Conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
- Ensuring all operations comply with HSE regulations and company policies, keeping up to date with changes in legislation.
- Leading investigations into any accidents or near-misses, identifying root causes, and recommending improvements.
- Planning and executing regular safety audits across the site to identify areas for improvement.
- Managing waste, energy use, and environmental impact to support the company’s sustainability goals.
- Delivering engaging HSE training sessions to staff at all levels, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Working closely with production teams, site managers, and external bodies to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
