Teaching Assistant

Join a Leading Secondary School in the Borough of Bexley as a Teaching Assistant Starting September 2024 until the End of the Academic Year July 2025!

About the Role: As a successful teaching assistant, you will:

Support students with special educational needs (SEN) within the classroom.

Provide one-to-one support and assist small groups of vulnerable students.

Communicate clearly, serve as a dedicated role model, and build rapport with students.

Assist teachers, monitor student progress, and provide feedback.

About the School:

Large mixed secondary school catering to ages 12-18.

Outstanding behaviour and a supportive environment.

Easily accessible via public transport.

Part of an established team with an experienced SENco and weekly meetings.

Role Details:

Pay: 85- 90 per day.

Hours: 8.30am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, full-time until the end of the academic year.

Requirements:

Hold a high-level degree.

Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.

CV covering the last 10 years of employment history where possible.

Legal right to work in the UK.
