Job Title: Information Security Manager

Location: Preston (Hybrid, 1 day per week onsite)

Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum

We are working with a forward-thinking organisation seeking an experienced Information Security Manager. In this role, you will manage a small team (1 direct report) and balance hands-on security operations with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) responsibilities. The role offers flexibility, requiring only one day a week onsite in Preston.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures
• Manage security operations and incident response
• Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001
• Conduct risk assessments and audits
• Lead a team of 1 and collaborate with wider IT teams

Tech Stack:

• SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewalls
• Vulnerability management tools
• Cloud security (AWS, Azure)
