Student Support Officer (Welfare & Engagement)
Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a new Student Support Officer (Welfare & Engagement) to join our Student Services team at our OnCampus Aston centre.
As a Student Support Officer, you will have a key role in ensuring an excellent student experience and will be actively involved in creating the student engagement/activity agenda. You will be working with students to enhance their OnCampus Aston experience by facilitating student participation in social, cultural, sports activities and events, liaising with the Student Union and other University departments and ensuring that students are aware of these activities, for example via social media.
There is also a welfare support element to the role. You will be the first point of contact for student care to help identify, signpost, deal with and follow up health and welfare concerns with the relevant OnCampus and University teams, supporting these students to reach their full potential. Additionally, you will have safeguarding responsibilities across the Centre.
