Teacher of Maths

The Role: As a Teacher of Maths, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that cater to a range of abilities, ensuring all students are supported in achieving their potential. You'll play a key role in creating a positive and challenging learning environment that fosters a love of maths, while also preparing students for their academic futures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Developing differentiated lesson plans that cater to individual learning needs.
• Encouraging student participation and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborating with colleagues to promote best practices and support departmental goals.
• Participating in extra-curricular activities and interventions where necessary.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching maths at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge across the curriculum.
• Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high educational standards.
