London based, global trading and investment firm/fintech are now on the hunt for Senior Software Engineer to join and spearhead one of it's growing technology teams. Our client seek a senior profile to gain influence high-class technology trading teams and you will be gain market-leading exposure, both from a engineering and business perspective. It is known that engineering teams are empowered to be a major part of their investment strategies as technology is used to form it’s future trading. In simple terms, engineers are treated as important as those at the cutting edge of trade execution.

This position is full stack with a bias to back end. Your role will be to manage and develop the global platform and applications. There are lots of greenfield elements to this position, and you will get the opportunity to lead a small globally dispersed team.

Ideal skills:

• Full stack engineering, with good back-end and front-end experience
• Python, C++ or Java
• React, JavaScript or Angular
• Trading/Front office trading exposure
• Real time streaming data
• Data at speed, similar to Market Data technology
• Linux operating systems
• Strategy experience
• Computer Science degree/education or similar

Finance/fintech experience preferred but applications are welcome from other industries
