HAYWARD HAWK is currently seeking a Senior End User Engineer to join a growing team that delivers exceptional IT and cyber services to clients.
Job Overview
In this role, you will play a crucial part in improving the security and performance of client devices and applications through standardized configurations and automated deployments. You will also provide advanced support to the end-user team, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and automate deployments of end-user devices and applications.
- Perform OS and application patching, along with remediation as needed.
- Package applications for deployment.
- Develop and enforce M365 policies and standards.
- Provide advanced technical support for complex end-user issues related to:
- Email delivery
- Microsoft 365 policies and settings
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Intune management
- Application packaging
- OS performance and tuning
- Endpoint protection
- Offer technical assistance through phone, email, chat, and in-person channels.
- Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to provide a seamless client experience and escalate issues when necessary.
- Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge articles.
- Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to the roadmap for modern workplace platforms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong experience with end-user technologies, including:
- Modern workplace solutions
- Microsoft 365, Intune (MDM, MAM), Conditional Access
- Microsoft DLP
- Remote management and patching platforms
- End-user experience monitoring tools
- VDI and application virtualization
- Experience with patching solutions (e.g., Microsoft, Ivanti, or equivalent RMM tools).
- Familiarity with data protection solutions such as Microsoft Azure, VEEAM, Rubrik, or Zerto.
- Experience working in both a proactive engineering capacity and a hands-on technical support role.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a personable and friendly approach.
- Passionate about delivering top-tier managed services.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team.
