Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Belfast (3 days WFO, 2 days WFH)

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and other tools.

- Develop, maintain, and execute test automation frameworks for various projects.

- Collaborate with manual testers and developers to identify test scenarios for automation.

- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) to ensure continuous

testing.

- Analyze and document test results, and provide detailed reports on quality metrics.

- Debug test failures and provide solutions to improve test stability and coverage.

- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing.

- Work closely with DevOps and developers to improve test environments and strategies.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in test automation and QA methodologies.

Technical Skills:

- Proven experience with Selenium and JAVA Programming with a minimum of 5+ years of experience.

- Familiarity with **CI/CD tools** (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

- Experience with version control systems like **Git**.

- Understanding of **Agile methodologies** and working in Scrum/Kanban teams.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.

- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.

Soft Skills:

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Attention to detail and a proactive mindset in identifying potential issues.
