Maintenance Engineer Location: Manchester Job Type: Permanent Salary: £48,000 to £52,000 Industry: FMCG Shifts: Night Shift, Monday - Friday 10pm - 6am (40 hours per week) About the Maintenance Engineer opportunity My client produce and package Food & Beverage products at their sites in South Manchester and they are looking for an Electrically-biased Multi-Skilled Shift Technician who will be responsible for looking after Maintenance, Repair and Continuous Improvement of a busy FMCG site.
Maintenance Engineer Deliverables - Provide Engineering Support for production activities, including Planned Preventative Maintenance and Breakdowns
- Striving for Continuous Improvement through Process Improvement opportunities and implementing change
- Maintenance of typical equipment found in Food Processing environment e.g. Packers, Weighers, Labellers, Conveyors, Mixers etc.
Maintenance Engineer Person Requirements - Ability to fault-find and resolve faults on Electrical & Automation equipment e.g. PLCs
- Electrical-biased, Multi Skilled Technician / Engineer
Maintenance Engineer Desirable Requirements - Relevant Electrical Qualification, preferably HNC
- 5 years + experience in FMCG industry or similar production environment
- Experience in working with Labelers and Thermoformers
