Site Engineer

Are you a freelance Site Engineer looking for security of work? Then read on. Abatec is working with a driven and dynamic Civil Engineering contractor involved with a major Highways scheme in Devon. Our client requires a freelance Site Engineer for an immediate. We are interested in applicants who have experience of projects including earthworks, drainage, RC structures and surfacing.

As Site Engineer you will:

• Use a robotic total station to provide levelling and surveying across site.
• Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
• Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols and to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary.

Our client requires a Site Engineer with:

• Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations.
• A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills.
• HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Understanding of AutoCAD

Salary and benefits include:

• £325 - £375 (PAYE/CIS paid via an umbrella company)
• 6 months + duration
