Azure Technical Architect – Azure, Technical Architect, Azure Architect, Cloud Technical Architect, Infrastructure, Solutions, Technical, Cloud based Architect, Devops, Azure B2C, Java, Keycloak, C#,Software Knowledge, API, NoSQL, Docker – Contract – Remote - £630-£750pd, Outside IR35 We are seeking an Azure Technical Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions for internal projects at an IT Services and products company . This 6-month role involves both hands-on technical leadership and strategic guidance to enhance our cloud infrastructure. Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Technical Architect or similar role in a fast-paced environment Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, and Azure B2C/Entra Strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect) Experience with identity and access management solutions (e.g., Keycloak, Auth0) Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., C#, Java) Deep knowledge of software design patterns, architectural styles (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture), and best practices Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Strong understanding of data architecture, including relational and NoSQL databases Experience with API design and management Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Outstanding communication and leadership abilities Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Main Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions using Azure and other relevant technologies Lead and mentor development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, standards, and best practices Evaluate and recommend new technologies and frameworks to enhance our technical capabilities Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of our systems and applications Provide hands-on technical leadership and support throughout the project lifecycle Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies Key Architectural Concepts: The ideal candidate should be well-versed in the following architectural concepts: Cloud-native architecture Distributed systems design Scalability and high availability Security by design Event-driven architecture Domain-driven design Microservices architecture API-first design Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Zero Trust security model Location: Remote Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK Catch Resource Management is a leading provider of Dynamics 365, JD Edwards, NetSuite and other ERP resources to both end users and to product suppliers/authors.
