An exciting CNC Miller position has become available in Huddersfield at a precision engineering company.

Job Title: CNC Miller Setter Operator

Shift: Days, Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am - 2:00pm (40 hours)

Rate: £15 - £17 p/h (Negotiable)

The Job

• The role for a Milling Machine Operator is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and enjoy work which is hands on.
• Machining a range of products to a high-quality standard
• Ensuring that quality products are produced, in a manner in keeping with Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures of the company
• Experience of working within a manufacturing environment
• Responsible for the general cleanliness and care of personal area and that of the main workshop
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Could evolve to a more senior role in time.

Requirements

• Ideally have 5 years Milling Machine operating experience
• Must be a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and have a keen eye for detail
• Must be able to work as part of a team and as an individual
• Flexible
• HNC, HND Also BTEC Level 3 NVQ Level 3
• Ideally have 5 year s experience
• Ability to troubleshoot
