Drivers Mate

We are currently recruiting for a Drivers Mate for our client in Tiverton, EX15

Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting our drivers to deliver our stock of lagers, ales, and craft beers accurately and safely from our Tiverton depot to our customers, ensuring that each delivery is completed with excellent customer service.

48 hours per week, working predominantly on a Monday to Friday basis however flexibility is required to work any 5 days in a 7 day period.

£12.06 per hour, weekly pay every Friday.

Key Accountabilities:

Supporting the driver and warehouse teams in loading/unloading of stock.

Supporting the driver with the most efficient traffic routes to help you both get to each location and back home as quickly and safely as possible.

Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.

Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Experience and Key Attributes:

Prior experience working as a driver s mate, drayman or within a warehouse desirable however not required.

Customer service

Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, however full training will be provided during induction.

Knowledge of local region.
