Job Opportunity: Class Underwriter – Property (London-Based, Hybrid Work)

A growing MGA is expanding its property portfolio with the launch of a new US-focused Division and is looking for a talented and ambitious Class Underwriter to help achieve its ambitious goals.

About the Role:

As a Class Underwriter, you will lead and develop the US Property Account, driving new business and managing existing portfolios. You’ll work closely with the Head of Property and cross-functional teams to ensure business targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead new business onboarding and renewals for US property binding authority accounts.
• Collaborate with syndicate departments, including actuarial, claims, and compliance.
• Monitor binder portfolio performance and implement necessary updates.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with coverholders, brokers, and other key stakeholders.
• Contribute to cross-class initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

About You:

• 5+ years of underwriting experience in US property (delegated authority).
• Strong understanding of the US property market.
• ACII qualification (or working towards) is preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
